Penalty interest under provisions of Spanish law – The Law Society Gazette

James Hawkins and Tabitha Hutchison have written an article for The Law Society Gazette looking at whether an award of penalty interest under foreign law is an issue of substance or procedure pursuant to Rome II, in relation to the case of Nicholls v Mapfre Espana Compania de Seguros y Reaseguros SA [2024] EWCA Civ 718.
