We are delighted to welcome our new pupils for 2024-2025: Nicole Pearson and William Knatchbull, commencing pupillage on 7 October 2024.

Nicole Pearson got a First from UCL and a distinction on her Bar Training Course (the new equivalent to ‘outstanding’). In 2020, Nicole was a finalist in the Undergraduate of the Year Award for Social Action (entered by over 4,500 applicants) for founding ‘The Hate Crime Unit’.

William Knatchbull got a First from Exeter and a Dean’s Commendation for academic excellence over a range of modules in his GDL. He was the social secretary for the Association of Gray’s Inn students in 2022-23 and was responsible for organising and delivering a wide range of events. William is a keen debater, having represented his school in the Oxford Union national debate for two years consecutively.

Tom Poole KC, Head of Pupillage, commented “It’s a big year for Nicole and William, commencing pupillage can be a daunting experience but at 3 Hare Court we make every effort to ensure the experience is as valuable and enjoyable as we can. All our pupils are seen as the future of Chambers, and we will fully support them in the hope of securing tenancy. I will wish them all the best.”
