Chambers is delighted to welcome Mussadak Mirza as a member, with effect from 1st May 2026.

Mussadak is a commercially astute barrister with over 20 years’ experience in litigation and advisory work across the UK and the Gulf.

Mussadak has a growing international arbitration and offshore practice in Gulf jurisdictions, residing part-time in the Sultanate of Oman. He is increasingly involved in matters governed by English law with a cross-border element, and provides advice on merits, strategy, and dispute resolution. He advises corporates and institutions on sanctions risk assessments, cross-border matters where sanctions exposure is business-critical, and responses to regulatory enquiries, including RFIs. We are seeing an increase in demand for advice in relation to sanctions, and Mussadak’s arrival in Chambers is timely in this respect.

He also has a well-established domestic practice in complex industrial disease litigation, covering the coal mining, steel, rail, shipbuilding and construction sectors, as well as military claims involving members of the British Armed Forces. His expertise in this area are complementary to Chambers’ long-standing reputation in personal injury litigation

Katherine Deal KC, Head of Chambers, comments: “We are delighted to have Mussadak join us. His practice specialisms are highly compatible with those across Chambers and he brings particular expertise to our industrial illness team.  His connections with Oman additionally enhance our profile as a leading set for cross-border work.”
