Inquests

Members of the travel teams have expertise in coronial law and represent both families of the deceased and other interested parties throughout the inquest process including pre-inquest reviews and applications and representation at the inquest.

We are routinely instructed to advise interested parties following the outcome of inquests on the bringing and defending of civil claims.

Members of the Travel team have particular expertise in connection with inquests arising from deaths abroad. Three members of Chambers were recently instructed in the inquests relating to the terrorist attack in Sousse, Tunisia.
