We have experience acting for numerous Premier League, EFL and National League football clubs, football agents, golf club directors and athletes from across the range of sports, including football, rugby league, rugby union, cricket, tennis, athletics, boxing, lacrosse, swimming, cycling, golf, snooker and even dog training. Members have acted in cases involving assessments of lost medal and sponsorship opportunities and have profound awareness of the unique aspects of a sporting career and remuneration.
The practice group is led by Thomas Horton, who is ranked as a leading junior in Sports in Chambers and Partners and Legal500. Thomas has appeared before numerous sports’ governing bodies’ disciplinary panels and before specialist arbitration panels, including FA Rule K arbitrations.
Where needed, 3 Hare Court can also draw on expertise from other members with specialist practices in personal injury, employment law, reputation management, commercial law and insolvency law.
