We are delighted to be speaking at the 24th Commonwealth… more
The 3 Hare Court international team is highly experienced in litigation and advisory work with an international dimension. Our clients regularly include corporations, governments, political parties, banks, and prisoners under sentence of death, as well as individual litigants of every kind.
Many members of Chambers have been called to the Bar in overseas jurisdictions and have appeared in courts around the world, including Antigua, the Bahamas, Barbados, the Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Dominica, Gibraltar, Grenada, Hong Kong, Mauritius, Northern Ireland, St Christopher & Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent & the Grenadines, and Trinidad & Tobago.
Our work before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council is particularly renowned. 3 Hare Court is widely recognised as a leading (and often the leading) set in such work, having appeared in hundreds of Privy Council appeals across all areas of law. Members are also regularly instructed in applications and appeals before local courts subject to the Privy Council’s jurisdiction.
International commercial arbitration forms a further core part of our practice. Members have acted in arbitrations under the rules of major institutions and regimes including the UNCITRAL Rules, ICSID, ICC, EBRD, LCIA, LMAA, HKIAC and ad hoc arbitrations.
Further, members are highly regarded for their work in cross-border personal injury and travel-related litigation, acting for claimants and defendants in cases involving serious injury and complex conflict of laws issues.
