Jas Jandu appointed to BSB’s Tribunal Representation Panel

We are pleased to announce that Jas Jandu has been appointed to the Bar Standards Board’s Tribunal Representation Panel.

Members of the panel advise the BSB on disciplinary matters relating to Barristers such as fitness to practise issues. Panel members also represent the BSB at Tribunal hearings and in appeals to the High Court/Court of Appeal.

The appointment recognises Jas’s extensive experience of working on matters within the Professional Disciplinary arena to date, particularly in the Financial sector where his work has also included taking action against lawyers caught up in Financial Crime and Regulatory Breaches.

His practice ranges from advising on FCA/Regulatory Banking & Finance Cases and International Commercial Disputes to Civil Fraud, Financial Crime and related Administrative Law matters. He is qualified to act as an Arbitrator or Mediator in disputes and is also available to defend fellow lawyers in disciplinary cases should the need arise.
