James Guthrie KC memorial lecture 2024

On 24 October 2024 we hosted a lecture and reception in memory of James Guthrie KC, former Head of Chambers at 3 Hare Court and one of the finest advocates of his generation. We were delighted to welcome James’ family and friends, members of the judiciary, colleagues, and clients.

Held at the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, and introduced by Lord Justice Dingemans, the lecture was given by Lord Mance, former Deputy President of the Supreme Court,  who spoke on ‘Constitutionalism in the Privy Council’.
