English-Cypriot Law Day 2018

Thomas Roe QC and Rowan Pennington-Benton are attending the above event today in Nicosia, Cyprus.

The seminar today is following two previous seminars in Cyprus and has been organised by the Bar Council‘s International Committee, in partnership with the Cyprus Bar Association.

The topics discussed at the event will include:

• Civil procedural law developments: including recent cases on establishing jurisdiction in England and security for cost
• Developments in Criminal Law: including Dishonesty, Money Laundering, and Unexplained Wealth Orders
• Using evidence from related cases: the cross-over between courts, tribunals and regulatory proceedings
• Family law: money matters and families across frontiers.
