Employment Law Update – May 2015 – An employment law update from 3 Hare court.

  • A Court of Appeal decision examining whose motivation is relevant when deciding whether dismissal was for a discriminatory reason;
  • An EAT decision concerning a dismissal for “some other substantial reason” where the claimant was paid out of public funds by his employer despite performing no services;
  • A successful appeal in the Court of Appeal against the refusal of interim injunctive relief against a competitor accused of poaching staff.
