  • Home Office v Essop & Ors, the Court of Appeal provided valuable guidance on the correct approach to indirect discrimination claims.
  • Higgins v Home Office & Anor, the EAT considered the application of Rule 12 of the Employment Tribunal Rules in a case where the claim was brought 6 years out of time.
  • E Ivor Hughes Educational Foundation v Morris, the EAT considered the vexed question of when an employer’s obligation to consult over collective redundancies arises.
