Employment Law Update – September 2014 – An employment law update from 3 Hare court.

In this month’s edition we look at:

  • The Court of Appeal decision in Prophet v Huggett [2014] EWCA Civ 1013 on the interpretation of restrictive covenants.
  • Howorth v North Lancashire Teaching PCT [2014] (UKEAT 0294/13/2208) in which the EAT considered reasonable adjustments following a dismissal on the grounds of criminal convictions.
  • The EAT decision in Atkinson v Community Gateway Association (UKEAT/0457/12/BA) on whether a claim for constructive dismissal would be available to an employee who had been in repudiatory breach of contract.
