James Gale


James started pupillage in October 2019 and became a tenant of chambers in October 2020. He studied law at the University of Manchester before completing the BPTC in London, the HWLS Transitional Course in Trinidad and Tobago, and the Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) at Lincoln College, Oxford.

Before pupillage, James worked as a legal trainee in Trinidad and Tobago at JD Sellier + Co and practised as an attorney-at-law at Hastings Attorneys-at-law in Barbados. James also worked in the Court of Appeal of England and Wales as a judicial assistant to the Rt. Hon. Lady Justice Asplin DBE.

James has an interest in all of Chambers’ core practice areas.
