Costs award in Employment Tribunal

Sara Ibrahim successfully obtained a cost award against the Claimant for £4,000 in a multi day employment tribunal claim for breach of contract and non payment of bonus. The tribunal was persuaded that it was unreasonable of the Claimant to pursue her claim after an open letter of settlement was received despite the fact that the Claimant’s allegations were not conceded by the employer.
