Charlotte Pope-Williams speaks at Women In Disputes event 2025

Charlotte Pope-Williams is speaking at the Women In Disputes event ‘Mediation: strategy, tales from the front line (war stories) and the future role of women’ on 30 January.

Charlotte joins speakers to share insights and experiences on a variety of issues across three themes:

• Strategies in mediation: What key skills are needed for effective mediation? What is the best way to de-escalate tension in highly emotional scenarios?
• War stories: During mediation what hasn’t gone right and what did you learn from it?
• Role of women in mediation: Does gender play a part in what you consider to be your strengths in mediation? Do men have a different experience? Can policies be improved to support women?
