We are delighted to announce that our current pupils, Charles Law and Niall Prior, have both accepted offers of tenancy at 3 Hare Court, and will start in practice as junior tenants at the conclusion of their pupillage in October.

Charles graduated with First Class Honours in History from Exeter College, Oxford. After completing the GDL, he gained an LLM with Distinction from UCL. He then completed the Bar Course as a scholar of Lincoln’s Inn.
Prior to pupillage Charles worked as a self-employed advocate in the county courts, where he received a broad array of instructions relating to possession, bankruptcy, interim applications, and infant settlements, and also represented clients pro bono on behalf of the Free Representation Unit.
He has co-authored a number of articles, including on the implications of the decision in Mazur, in which the Court of Appeal provided clarity on what in meant by ‘carrying on the conduct of litigation’ for the purposes of the Legal Services Act 2007. Charles has advanced level fluency in Russian.
Niall studied law at Trinity College Dublin, where he achieved first class honours and graduated joint-second in his year. He then completed an LLM at the University of Cambridge, receiving a first class grade. Following this, he received a scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn to complete the Bar Course.
Prior to commencing pupillage, Niall worked as a Legal Researcher in the Civil and Commercial Department of a specialist international disputes firm. He undertook research on matters including civil fraud and insolvency. Before this, Niall served as a Judicial Assistant to the Irish High Court, where he assisted on cases concerning civil international child abduction, medical negligence, and others.
He has co-authored articles concerning fraud, asset tracing and recovery, as well as contempt of court.
