Appeal to the Privy Council from the Court of Appeal of the Bahamas on the constitutionality of the mandatory life sentence for murder. In particular, whether, under the Constitution of Bahamas, section 312 of the Bahaman Penal Code provided for a discretionary and not a mandatory life sentence.
