Tim maintains both a London and Caribbean practice. His work involves sanctions issues in both contexts, often with trust structures and foundations. He was previously a Partner with New York litigation firm Kobre & Kim. He has extensive experience of public law and constitutional changes both at trial level and on appeal.
He regularly gives expert evidence on director liability issues and the integrity of trust structures across the many offshore financial centres. In addition to his expert evidence work, Tim’s work focuses on complex disputes across wide areas of law including trusts, insolvency, commercial litigation and post-judgment enforcement.
He is admitted in and practises across much of the Caribbean Region. Also in South America (Guyana) and Central America (Belize).
His experience in judicial review work is extensive, wide-ranging and has covered issues as diverse as the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, suspension of passports on the grounds of national security, the right to work of asylum-seekers and fines imposed by regulators in the financial services industry.
Tim is able to accept instructions directly from members of the public, companies and other entities through the public access scheme (also known as direct access).
