Nicole Pearson is our 2024-2025 pupil. Nicole’s pupillage commences on 7 October 2024.
Nicole studied Law at UCL, where she achieved first-class honours. Alongside her studies, she volunteered at a free legal advice clinic, where she provided representation at Tribunal hearings on welfare benefit appeals. Nicole also volunteered for AMICUS, a death row charity, and took part in a students-led grassroots project providing human rights workshops to school-aged pupils in North London. She was also captain of the UCL European Court of Human Rights Moot Court team, and a finalist in the Undergraduate of the Year for Social Impact award.
She subsequently completed the bar course, having received a Lord Denning scholarship. Alongside the bar course, she was involved in a charitable project aimed at equipping pro bono law clinics and organisations to provide advice to client in response to possible hate crime incidents.
Prior to pupillage, Nicole worked for a consultancy where she was responsible for senior stakeholder management and co-ordinated with senior politicians on a number of topics, including AI (artificial intelligence).
