Charles Law is our 2025-2026 pupil. Charles’s pupillage commences on 6 October 2025.
Charles graduated with First Class Honours in History from the University of Oxford. After completing the GDL, he gained an LLM from UCL (Distinction). He then completed the Bar Course as a scholar of Lincoln’s Inn.
Alongside his studies Charles represented clients pro bono in the First Tier Tribunal on behalf of the Free Representation Unit. He also successfully represented a client on appeal to the Upper Tribunal (Administrative Appeals Chamber).
Prior to pupillage Charles worked as a self-employed advocate in the county courts, where he received a broad array of instructions relating to possession, bankruptcy, interim applications and infant settlements.
