We are attending the 2024 IBA Annual Conference in Mexico from 15-20 September.
Thomas Roe KC, Tim Prudhoe, Charlotte Pope-Williams, Anna Lancy and James Donovan (Senior Clerk) are joining other global legal professionals in Mexico City for networking, learning, and career growth.
The conference will see over 5,000 professionals from law firms, corporations, governments and regulators from over 130 jurisdictions, and hear from experts including general counsel, government officials and leading international figures.
The International Bar Association (IBA), established in 1947, is the world’s leading organisation of international legal practitioners, bar associations, law firms and law societies. The IBA influences the development of international law reform and shapes the future of the legal profession throughout the world. It has a membership of more than 80,000 individual lawyers and more than 190 bar associations and law societies spanning over 170 countries.
3 Hare Court has a longstanding relationship with the IBA and our Senior Clerk, James Donovan, is the Diversity and Inclusion Officer of the LGBTQI+ Law Committee. The LGBTI+ Law Committee focuses on the unique legal challenges that individuals may face within various jurisdictions, by reason of their sexuality, gender identity or gender expression. The committee also aims promote diversity and inclusiveness in the legal profession and society at large.
