3HC at the IBA Annual Conference Toronto 2025

Members of 3 Hare Court will be attending the 2025 International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference in Toronto from 2 to 7 November.

Jeffrey Golden KC (Hon), Tim Prudhoe, James Gale, and Senior Clerk James Donovan will join thousands of legal professionals from across the globe for a week of thought leadership, networking, and professional development.

Tim Prudhoe, will be speaking on Monday 3 November (14:30-17:30) on topic of “IBA HRI Showcase- Rejecting the rights rollback: advancing LGBTQI+ equality around the world” LINK: Session Details Page | International Bar Association.

Jeffrey Golden KC (Hon) is part of the UK Government legal services delegation in partnership by the Ministry of Justice GREAT Legal Services campaign and Department for Business and Trade. The delegation will provide UK legal professionals with access to a programme of activities including industry-leading roundtable discussions and exclusive networking events aimed at promoting UK legal services and growing UK businesses globally. The campaign has run a programme at the last three IBA annual conferences.

The conference will see over 5,000 professionals from law firms, corporations, governments and regulators from over 130 jurisdictions, and hear from experts including general counsel, government officials and leading international figures.

3 Hare Court has a longstanding relationship with the IBA and our Senior Clerk, James Donovan, is the Diversity and Inclusion Officer of the LGBTQI+ Law Committee. The Committee aims to promote diversity and inclusiveness in the legal profession and society at large by presenting LGBTQI+ ideals and calling attention to legal matters and developments through its sessions, publications, projects and collaborations with other IBA committees, and external parties.
