To mark 40 years of the Insolvency Act 1986, we are pleased to host a new series of Insolvency Breakfast Briefings at The Delaunay over the coming months — a series of practitioner-focused insolvency discussions.
Led by senior members of our insolvency team experienced in contentious matters, the series explores the practical challenges currently faced by businesses, insolvency practitioners and their advisers, particularly in an increasingly cross-border and contested environment. Each session will be discussion-led with engagement from industry specialists, focusing on the key issues shaping insolvency disputes in practice, areas of current and emerging risk and developments in funding, recovery and strategy.
Upcoming sessions include:
• 13 May – Recognition and Relief: Navigating Cross-Border Insolvency, led by Daniel Feetham KC and Rowan Pennington-Benton
• 30 June –Following the Money: Funding, Risk and Recovery in Insolvency Disputes, led by Tom Poole KC, Georgia Purnell and Nicholas Leah
• 23 September – The Reckoning: Director Liability in Insolvency, led by Andrew Barns-Graham and Adam Riley
We look forward to sharing key themes and reflections from the discussions following each session, and to continuing the conversation through future briefings later in the year.
The sessions are now fully subscribed. If you would like to be added to the reserve list, or included in future series, please contact marketing@3harecourt.com or darrenwhitbread@3harecourt.com.
