The case is The Republic of Mozambique v. Credit Suisse International et al.
Peter Knox KC is instructed by Rupert Butler of Leverets who represent Andrew Pearse, Detelina Subeva, and Surjan Singh – three former Credit Suisse bankers who pled guilty to criminal charges in the United States having admitted receiving over $50m of kickbacks in respect of the transaction of loans made by Credit Suisse and VTB Capital which were guaranteed by the Republic of Mozambique. The trial is due to commence in October 2023 and is listed for three months.
