Daniel Tivadar was instructed by the Brent Community Centre via the Bar Pro Bono Unit last week in the Employment Tribunal. The case concerned a Tanzanian lady who was brought over to the UK and was essentially enslaved for 9 months. Claim concerned contractual claims, deduction of wages and racial and sex discrimination. Daniel was successful in obtaining a substantial award for his client.
