Navjot advises and acts in general commercial and business law. He is regularly instructed in contract, sale of goods and insolvency work. He also has particular expertise in obtaining injunctive relief.
He has substantial experience of personal injury cases, acting for both Claimants and Defendants in fast-track and multi-track cases. He has particular experience of claims involving Occupiers’ Liability, Travel Law, Employer’s Liability and Trespass to Goods. He frequently advises and acts in Landlord and Tenant disputes.
He also has experience of appellate work in the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. Before coming to the Bar, Navjot spent a period as a stagiaire at the European Commission in Brussels and worked as a parliamentary researcher at the House of Commons. His particular area is in Internal Markets (freedom of goods, services, capital and people (especially financial servies, banking etc.) and Trade (WTO and trade law).
In March 2008, Navjot was appointed to the Attorney General’s ‘C’ Panel of Junior Counsel to the Crown.
Publications and Lectures: Navjot has been published in the Solicitors Journal and regularly contributes to client bulletins produced by Chambers in commercial and personal injury.
