Clara practices general commercial law including franchise agreements, licence agreements and commercial property disputes in both the High Court and County Court. Her practice also encompasses insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings and she has particular experience of Bankruptcy Restrictions Orders.
Clara has significant experience in handling cases with an international element and regularly advises both claimants and defendants on jurisdiction, applicable law and the Package Travel Regulations. She also has a broad personal injury practice which includes employers', occupiers' and public liability cases.
Clara undertakes both advisory and court work in consumer credit cases representing both claimants and defendants (including credit reference agencies) in relation to hire-purchase agreements, conditional sale agreements and issues arising under the Data Protection Act.
Clara also has broad experience in property law including possession claims, disrepair actions and claims involving trusts of land.
